Did a pipe inspection of a house before we purchased it. They did not report a broken sewer line even though it was visible on their video. Their insurance company does not cove...

I needed a scoping of my drainage at a warehouse that I purchased three years ago. Doctor Pipe said they would do it for $400 and I agreed. When I returned to my warehouse Doctor Pipe had four trucks at my building that's when I knew something was up. A $400 bill escalated to $1600 and we settled at $800. I was told that there was hanger failure and would require jackhammering the slab in multiple places to rectify or expect major blockage. I got a second opinion and they gave us a clean bill of health. Three years later and no problems confirms that Doctor Pipe was wrong. Doing the work that they recommended would have cost a fortune. All I can say if buyer beware. more

From my visit experience I can't imagine anyone not wanting to have Dr Pipe do their work. From the moment the gentleman got to my job he was polite, knowledgeable, quick and very efficient. There was a time ago that I would have done this job myself but under my present conditions I was unable to do so. I watched every move he made and would not have done anything different.\r Excellent work and reasonably priced. Thank you Dr. Pipe for a job well done.\r Terry Carter. more

Once a connection leaked, but I called and they sent someone out and the problem was immediately fixed. Pros: They are not as pricey as others and still reliable Cons: sometimes you have to get ""wait listed"" more

Incompetent 2/11/2008

Did a pipe inspection of a house before we purchased it. They did not report a broken sewer line even though it was visible on their video. Their insurance company does not cover their negligence for missing broken pipes in video inspections so we are stuck with the bill of repairing a broken sewer line. Incompetent, do not use them for anything, especially video inspections. Cons: totally incompetent more
