Being right on the water Corpus has some pretty good seafood restaurants, that being said Doc's is not one of them. Most of their food is tasteless, and the fish could not be drie...

We saw Dolphins!!! 3/15/2011

We had an awesome lunch today at Doc's. Took the kids to eat out on the deck over looking the water and while having lunch we saw dolphins swimming by. The kids had a blast! I stepped up and ordered more than usual and had the flounder stuffed with crab meat. I have to say it was great. We are told that the sunset is the perfect time of day to have dinner there. I am sure it is really beautiful and I plan on bringing my wife for dinner next weekend. I have to give Doc's a great rating, good food, good service and a friendly manager that thanked us. more

Padre Island GOOD EATS 3/15/2011

Went to the beach today with friends and we decided to stop in for lunch at Doc's! Very pleased. I had a grilled shrimp salad with their homemade Cilantro Ginger Vinaigrette sauce. Delicious and priced right. My friends ordered grilled tilapia and fried shrimp which they said was tasty. Waitress was quick and friendly. I really like the music they play. I found out they now have To-Go menus so you can call in your order. I like that. Nice place - really good lunch today. more

The best in Corpus 6/5/2010

This was by far the best place we ate at our entire time here. My oysters and crab were very fresh and perfectly prepared. He had tuna and crab cakes and loved them. We both loved this place so much we are planning another trip to corpus just to eat here. Pros: Beautiful area, great food, and service more

Being right on the water Corpus has some pretty good seafood restaurants, that being said Doc's is not one of them. Most of their food is tasteless, and the fish could not be drier. The place before them, Frenchys, was great before it burnt down. Other than for the sunsets I would not go there. Pros: nice waterfront views, live music Cons: the food, service more
