The real Tampa Bay grouper sandwich. You can go to pricey, so called gourmet establishments that serve fish, but why bother when you can go to Dockside Dave's. The best way to enjoy fresh fish is the way they do it. The original battered and the blackened are perfect versions and not skimpy portions like some of the more well known pretenders serve. Not exactly a bargain at around $9.00 a sandwich, but when you consider how expensive black grouper is in the stores, it is well worth it. Large beer battered onion rings and waffle fries complement the meal. Spicy grouper chowder is actually spicy and is chili-like. Sometimes it takes a while to get your food but it is worth the wait.
