THE NAME HAS BEEN CHANGED. THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD GREATLY IMPROVED. THE SERVICE IS VERY IMPROVED AS WELL SINCE IT WAS DOCKSIDE. IT IS A FAMILY RESTAURANT WITH A GREAT DEAL OF BEBEFITS PROVIDED TO THE NAHANT AND GREATER LYNN COMMMUNITY AS WELL BY THE MANAGEMENT AS WELL AS STAFF. THEY ALSO PROVIDE A VERY NICE AND ACCOMODATING LOCAL CATERING SERVICE FROM THE RESTAURANT AS WELL AS KELLY GREENS A LOCAL PAR 3 GOLF COURSE WHICH THEY ALSO MANAGE FOOD SERIVICE IN TO THE SAME LEVEL AS THE MAIN RESTAURANT. DIFFERENT CHEF AND VARIED MENU FROM THE TIDES ITSELF. I WOULD RATE BOTH 4 STARS. more

A community restaurant 8/15/2005

Very much a community restaurant, The Dockside often plays host to a set of fund-raisers for local community athletic and extracurricular groups. It’s a diner style restaurant, where the food comes fast and there is lots of it. The price matches the speed, but there are games for the kids, a great view of the ocean, and it’s always fun to see a lot of kids running around having a fun time. more
