As a woman who doesn’t know a thing about cars, I’ve been ripped off by mechanics more than once. So now I’m so leery about getting ripped off. Every dobbs I’ve been to though, is wonderful. They take the time to serve you, they’re honest, and they’ve very helpful. A wonderful example of a local owned business. more

Great for car maintenance 8/18/2005

Dobbs is where we take our cars for routine care as well as emergencies. Service is fast and not overly expensive (and generally not make-specific, helping us avoid slow dealership repairs), and even when it seems like your day is just going to be terrible because your car broke down, they can improve things quickly by getting you on your way (or driving you somewhere in their shuttle if the repair will take some time). more

Total crooks here 7/7/2005

Stay far away from this place they are crooks!! I took my car here this guy said my brakes and tires were awful that the brakes would for sure go out on me unless I spent the over $300.00 to fix them at least. well I took it somewhere else and he said no my pads were a bit worn but nothing major and fixed them under $40 for all four this place is crooked!! I then called the manager to let him know of course he sided with the con guy there saying his guy was right and i shoudl be careful driving becasue my guy probably did not know what his guys know about cars, total joke and rip off at this place. more
