I couldn't disagree more with the other reviewer. \r
Growing up, I had the fear of dentist like many people. It had to do with the needle, the drill, the pain and what not, so I avoided to have my teeth taken care off for the longest time. Of course, I had a tooth ache one day and was referred to Hassey Dental Associates by a co-worker who was a longtime patient and had nothing but praises for them\r
So I went there thinking that I was in for a major treatment. It turned out that I had a big cavity but the doctor were able to save it from a root-canal. Of course, he warned me that I might still need a root-canal if the treatment fails but so far, It hasn't been giving me any problem. The whole experience was a breeze: the staff was very courteous, friendly and tried their best to relax me, knowing how nervous I was. They put on the TV while I was in the chair waiting for the doctor. When he came in, after a thorough exam, he presented me with the options and got me numb quickly and painlessly. The treatment was fast and yet I knew that I was in competent hands. \r
I came to realise that this is a very competent, carring, conservative family practice. They actually look out for your best interrests, unlike others who might just want to make money. \r
About the obsolete equipment comment, may be the other reviewer was talking about another office? I've been coming to doctor Hassey for 4 years now and they went through a big renovation 2 years ago. Everything looks great! new comfy chairs, TVs and computers in all rooms, but the most important thing is that the office looks so clean.\r
Bottom line is: I have been a regular of Hassey Dental Associates for awhile now and haven't experienced any fear when I go there now and that's a great thing. I haven't had no problem since. I've referring this office to everyone I know, all my family is also going there.
Pros: Two thumbs up. Pleasant, competent, trustworthy
Cons: Only one location, wished it could be closer to my place.
