I bought a 2004 jetta in July 2008 the car looked great to me, drove well over all was a pretty good car for the 5 months I owed it. I brought the car to 3 local dealers in my area where they told me this car was in a major accident which from what several auto shops told me had a ""crumpled"" frame, an aftermarket hood, and aftermarket headlights greattt! Well in July 2008 I paid $16,995 with taxes for this car, in December 2008 when I decided to get rid of it because I didn't know if it was safe I got $6,800 which was my highest offer for a car in this bad of condition. Most places were offering me $4,000 what a waste of money! At the time of my purchase DNL showed me a CLEAN CARFAX.... AKA a fake carfax report!! (which is illegal) From the 3 dealerships I went to they gave me 3 autocheck reports which read ""UNIBODY DAMAGE"" At this point I didn't want to believe they straight up lied to me so I called Steve and told him he made up excuses like they didn't want to give me enough for it blah blah blah and his mechanic would call me the next day.... which he never did! Well Steve your full of sh*t and the attorney general has been contacted :) I hope that if you see this you are smarter than me when buying a car and take any of the cars you are looking to buy here to an autobody shop before your purchase. In the long run the $50 bucks you spend to have someone look it over will save you. Unlike me who lost about 10,000 grand. But will hopefully be getting back once the attorney general handles this.
