After my cat was mauled by a dog, my neighbors rushed her to Dixon's animal hospital on Western Ave. The dog entered my yard by jumping the fence to get my cat that never ventured out. Anyway, I arrived home shortly after and rushed to the nearby Dixons. I was greeted with Dr. Dixon telling me that it was Saturday, he had a football game to go to and I needed to make a decision SOON. After confirming with my vet via phone what needed to be done, I unfortunately had to put my cat down. To add insult to this already horrible situation Dixon never did offer any help to me his only concern was how quick he could get this overwith. I heard from others afterward that he was forced to take the practice over from his father, I do not know for sure if this is true. However, why would I won't to take my beloved pet to a man who seems to dislike them so much. Renee
