We decided to treat our boys to their first drive-in experience June 28th at Dixie Drive in. It has been quite a while since my husband and I have been to a drive in, but we were shocked at how they were double parking vehicles. When you go to a drive in you don't usally pull in right behind another vehicle, like a parking lot. This does not allow for you to sit out in front of your vehicle and enjoy the show because you are looking at the bumper of the vehicle in front of you. I watched vehicles leave because their entire vehicle party could not view the screen. My husband and I were lucky to get a space where we could sit in front of our vehicle. However, I believe the owners of this drive in were trying to get as many vehicles as possible into the movie for profit, however, they lost our business and I am sure others will not return, in fact many left without viewing the show. It's sad that they would sacrifice the experience for the sake of a buck! Definitely ruining the drive in experience!
Cons: Trying to fit too many cars limits family experience!
