DIXIE HOME CRAFTERS CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS, THEY DON'T GET IN A HURRY TO DO REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL. I USED THEIR CHAT LINE TO REQUEST REPLACEMENT WINDOWS FOR MY HOUSE WHICH THE GAS INSIDE THE WINDOWS HAD LEAKED MAKING WINDOW CLOUDY. THIS TIME SOMEONE DID CALL ME FROM THE NORCROSS OFFICE TOOK MY INFORMATION SAID THEY WERE BEHIND IN GETTING REPAIRS DONE BUT PUT MY NAME ON THE LIST FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO CALL ME TO GET THE WINDOW NUMBERS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THAT WAS ON OCT 28, 2011 AND IT IS NOW JANUARY 2, 2012. NO ONE HAS CALLED FOR THE WINDOW NUMBERS. I CALLED THE OFFICE IN HOOVER/BIRMINGHAM AL AREA. I TALKED TO GENERAL MANAGER, CLAY WAS HIS NAME. WHEN YOU TALK TO SOMEONE ON THE PHONE YOU CAN TELL IF YOU HAVE THEIR TOTAL ATTENTION BY THE WAY THEY RESPOND. HE TOLD ME SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME OR EITHER COME DOWN TO WHERE I LIVE. THAT WAS LAST WEEK --NO CALL AND I AM SURE SINCE IT IS DURING THE HOLIDAYS, NO ONE WILL BE COMING TO MY SEE ME EITHER. ALL THIER PRODUCTS HAVE A LIFETIME GUARANTEE, THAT IS WHY I WENT WITH THEM. KNOWING WHAT I KNOW NOW ABOUT THIER FOLLOW UP PROCEDURES AND THE LACK OF URGENCY OF GETTING BACK WITH THE CUSTOMER AND MAKING SURE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP PRIORTY IN ORDER TO KEEP CUSTOMERS HAPPY SO THEY CAN RECOMMEND DIXIE HOME CARFTERS TO THEIR FRIENDS ISN'T IN THE PLAN AFTER THEY INSTALL THEIR SIDING AND WINDOWS IN YOUR HOME. I USED THE OFFICE IN COLUMBUS GA FOR THE INIATIAL INSTALLATION, WHICH IS NOW CLOSED. I AM NOT SURPRISED THEY ARE NO LONGER IN BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT ANY BETTER THAN ANY OF THE OTHER DIXIE HOME CRAFTER OFFICES FOR TAKING CARE OF REPAIR IN A TIMELY MANNER. DON'T USE THEM YOU WILL REGRET IT. USE A REPUTABLE DEALER THAT YOU KNOW WILL BE AROUND WHEN YOU NEED THEM, LIKE SEARS OR SOME BIG COMPANY LIKE THEM.
