Dixie Driving Range

Wow! I have to respond to note by toad- I mean tyoded; Are you serious? What driving range in the real world allows FREE use of it's facilities. How would they stay in business??! seriously! And..I seroously doubt you go there 2-3 times a week (as you state) ..if you did- why didn't the owner know you? thought so. BTW- I DO hit balls there 3-4 times a week and haved talked to the owner and he is NOT as you describe. I wish you had called the police- I'm sure you would have tried to bully them too but maybe they would have hauled you away for trespassing! I think that's what it's called when you go onto another person's land/property and start using it for putting practice? If you did that on my property I'd call the police!! more

I have NEVER been treated more POORLY by a ""business"" owner than what i experienced here today! I stopped by to chip and putt on their practice green, just to kill a little time. While this is NO PROBLEM at any other drivinig range I have ever been to, I was told that I had to purchase range balls to use their facility. I asked to speak to the owner, knowing he lived on site. I explained that I hit balls there, and PAID for them, 2-3 times a week, and thought that might persuade him to let me use the green. He IMMEDIATELY started cursing at me, and told me to get the f*** outta here! He didn't care how much $$$ I had spent there... I agreed to leave, and told him he just lost a paying customer. He DID NOT like that, and became even MORE beligerent. He even pushed me as I was walking back to the parking lot. I SHOULD have called the police! DO NOT GIVE THIS A-HOLE ONE DIME!!!! more
