One of the Dineys Best 4/9/2006

I've stayed at the Polynesian a few times and I have to say this is one of Dineys most romantic hotels, espcially at night. Its just beautiful with the scenrary and tiki torches at night. Plus this is one of the hotels hooked up to the monorail so you can get everywhere quickly. This is one of there better hotels so its expensive but so pretty. Plus, your literally 5 steps away from Magic Kingdom almost. This is a great hotel for couple or familys, there lots of family activities to do around there and there fantastic charater breakfast. The rooms are nicely sized and it really has the Disney magic there. more

Tropical Paradise? Yes. 4/8/2006

Even if you've had the opportunity to visit a real Polynesian paradise you'll be impressed with Disney's Polynesian Resort. Like everything Disney does, the resort is themed down to the smallest details. Renovations were being done while we were visiting but the hotel was well organized and the construction did not interfere with the enjoyment of the guests. We were disappointed that the building we wanted to stay in was closed but we were given another choice that more than met our expectations. The resort has two wonderful pools, one of which was a small water slide that is great for kids. The beach is nice for relaxing and a great place to view the water parade at night. The atmosphere is set from the moment you step into the hotel and are greeted by tropical music, leis and hula dancing. Everything is themed down to the smallest detail and does really feel like a tropical paradise. The resort is on the monorail line for Disney's Magical Kingdom and our room location also made it easy for us to get to the main transportation center where we could easily hop the Epcot monorail. All other locations have buses that stop directly in front of the hotel. Disney does it all right and the Polynesian is no exception. more

Disney at it's finest! 10/3/2005

This resort was amazing! Our family always debates for vacation between a theme park and a beach, and this resort gives you the best of both worlds. While in the resort you feel totally submersed in the tropical atmosphere and you almost forget that you are in WDW. The price is a little high, but the location can't be beat. You can get to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot by monorail, and only have to take the busses to Animal Kingdom or MGM. The authenticity of this place makes it a must see with employees who are actually from Polynesian countries and decor shipped from those countries as well. It also hosts some fabulous restaurants!! more
