Editorial Review 10/28/2011

For adults it’s the nostalgic journey back to childhood. Here you can meet and greet all the Disney Characters, ride the magic carpet, see the small world exhibit which houses children from around the world. Age group 8-80 yrs all have fun there! more

Disney Land In California is so much smaller than Disney World In Florida 4/28/2006

For the sake of the kids we spent a day at Disney Land and I would say that it seems half the size of Disney World. They do have about the same rides and my goodness, This Mickey looks like that Mickey (LOL)! I actually enjoyed that it wasn't as large because I didn't feel like walking around all day anyhow! Their Fantasy Follies was new to me and I got a charge out of that. This was a special Mickey & Minnie Mouse program for Christmas. more

The Happiest Place On Earth... 2/26/2006

There's little you can say to sell Disneyland--most people know whether it's for you or not. I think one of the most important indicators as to whether you like it as an adult is whether you went there as a child. If it was an important part of your childhood, then whenever you go there, you can get a glimpse of things as they were when you were younger, before you got hard and cynical, and when you still believed that maybe things would actually work out happily ever after. If you can go in with a suspended sense of irony, it's a wonderful place to get a break from the grim (and ever-grimmer) work-a-day world. If you can't, and think such escapist entertainment is stupid and a waste of time---well you'll just have to take your hollow, little black soul elsewhere for fun, because you won't find it here. more

A forgetting place: Mickey's home inside the Disneyland 8/21/2005

Disneyland is like a magnet attracts everyone. I want to write this because I think some of the first timers forgot to go the most original theme in the park. This area is the town of where all the original characters’ home. I mean, if I ask what terms you can come out with Disney, perhaps you will answer Mickey, Minnie, etc. Their stories often happen in their houses which are the background images we have remembered. I think it is amazing to walk inside these characters homes. I am an adult, but when I walked into these homes, I still feel it is a dream comes true. It gives an illusions of these characters really exist in this place. more
