Being a newcomer in Memphis, I went to Dish for the first time on a Saturday night . The music was great and the DJ rocked. The drinks were very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Our waitress kept stopping by to see if we needed anything and to clear empty glasses and such. People sitting next to us really made us feel welcome and filled us in on Dish and Memphis.
Too bad that there is no real "dance floor" so it made it tough to really get down, the place gets really packed after midnight.
Dish is located in one of the nicest part of Memphis in Midtown, and finding parking was no problem. Smoking is permitted, even cigar smoking (as long as no one complains about the odor)! So watch out if you can't stand second hand smoke!
Pros: Ambience, music, people, service, price, parking.
Cons: Smoke, tight space.
