We chose Dish Network for our TV service over a local cable tv company because it is much less expensive. You get a whole lot more channels for the same price, or even less money. It's easy to upgrade or downgrade your service package, and not confusing at all! more

Pure entertainment 2/24/2011

I can actually get my kids to come to the dinner table without argument, because they know they won't miss the end of their show....my only disappointment is that I have a 100 hour capable DVR and I understand that Dish is offering new customers a 500 hour DVR-and I wish existing customers could be eligible for it without paying a huge upgrade fee....I have discovered that if the satellite goes out during a storm, you can still plug into what is saved in the DVR and still have television entertainment. more

I've had Dish Network for almost a year. I've had nothing but excellent customer service and they have excellent programming at a fair price. I like them so much more than DirecTV. I'll never go back to cable. more

I have been with Dish for years. I rarely lose signal due to weather. Overall I am happy with Dish and I know several people who have Dish and I never hear complaints. If you are reading reviews to help with you decision, don’t be discouraged by all the negative ones! I am completely satisfied with Dish. more

I have been a customer of Dish Network for more than 3 years now and would never consider switching! This is by far the best satellite television company. You can't beat the price! They offer some of the best-priced packages in comparison to Direct TV. more
