Our Philosophy is that children develop best when they are provided an environment that keeps them safe and gives them opportunities to learn through exploration. We believe that this can be accomplished by maintaining a safe environment, creating a strong educational component in daily activates, and sustaining effective communication between the center and parents. Our view is that these things will create an enriched environment which will stimulate children's senses, inspire their creativity, spark their imagination, and encourage them to have diverse thinking.
We provide care for infants starting at 6 weeks of age through school age children 12 years old. We offer before and after school program as well as late start, early out, and no school days. We hope to have a Summer Discovery program for school age kids starting June 2015.
We serve healthy nutritious meals and snacks, including breakfast, Mid-morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.
Child Development and Early Education Programs
We understand that your child's education and care is a priority and that choosing the right program is a big decision. Our programs stress individualized education and the social needs of each child. Our early education programs include an educational curriculum and knowledgeable child development professionals that meet the needs of children at every age and stage. We also understand the many needs of working parents. Our programs enable parents to go to work knowing that their children are happy, safe, and well cared for.
Infant and Baby Program
We provide a warm, welcoming environment where your baby can grow from a bundle of joy to a bundle of curiosity. Your baby's primary care giver is a nurturing child development professional whose main focus is to create experiences and opportunities that invite exploration and support the rapid and important development that occurs in a child's first year.
Toddler Program
We use hands on exploration and social interaction in safe, engaging surroundings to help toddlers learn about their expanding world. Through the guidance of our early childhood development professionals, toddlers enjoy learning experiences that promote their blossoming independence and social skills that foster self-confidence.
Preschool Age Program
We offer a program that is filled with opportunities for investigating, exploring, and discovering where active and enthusiastic children can refine and expand their skills and knowledge. Through intentional teaching practices, purposefully designed learning environments, and enriched activities, teachers ensure preschoolers have joyful, appropriate and meaningful learning experiences that lead to success in school and in life.
Before and After School and No school days Program
Our program offers enriching learning opportunities in a fun environment for maturing school age children. At discovery learning center we recognize that growing physical, intellectual, and social competence of the increasingly independent school age child. They are eager to achieve socially and academically while expanding their knowledge of the world. They also seek new challenges, close friendships, and increased responsibilities.
