My husband and I had just bought a house and called Discount Sanitation for trash service because all of our neighbors had their bins. They wanted payment right than and there; and we, being overwhelmed with all the stuff we had to do for our new home, didn't hasitate to comply. We wrote out the check that very day and it cleared within two. However, we were shocked that it would take two weeks for us to receive our bins. Two weeks came and went and still no bins. I called repeatedly and never got a response, even after leaving about 5 messages. I emailed and phoned but got no anwser. Finally I called from a diiferent number and they amazingly answered immediately. I told them my who I was and asked them what was going on with our trash service, and they said they had no recollection of me or my account. I told them my check cleared almost instantly and their company stamp was on the back. Still, I magically wasn't in their database. I confronted Linda Atkinson, the woman I had talked to initially, about how they could take my money and erase me from their records. She said they don't delete files. I threathened to report her the the Better Business Buerau, and it was only than that she offered to refund me. By the way, in took nearly two months for me to get my money back! I switched to Desert Dwellers Desposal and they are the best. I got my bin the same day I started service. It has been great. I highly recommand them.
