Very good service. Everytime I call I get an answer from a real person, not a machine! I've had other (big name) compaines before and they don't compare to them. All of the girls ...

very poor and very costly. it's been a week that i called them to come and remove their tank. to this date no response.

Catastrophic operation...chaos... 8/7/2015

This company shared personal info with me via their online payment site. The owner has to be in the witness protection program because you will NEVER get him/her to call you back no matter how big the issue. Disaster of an outfit. Amateur hour at it's finest. Stay away from this outfit. Had employees lie and continue to cover up obvious issues. How people live with themselves after failing in their day jobs like these people do is beyond my pay grade. Be warned. more

Rude Staff 5/24/2011

Do not use this company! They are rude and unprofessional. They will lock your gas tank with out warning and not tell you that it is locked although they will still send bills as normal. They will say it will cost you more in the long run to come and pick up your tank if you no longer want their service. This is a small and unorganized company with rude office staff. Be aware more

I agree with the above reviews. Poor Service. We bought our house with the tank already installed. For hook up they came out on the day requested, but did not call regarding the time (they apparently post the call schedule on the day of the appointment internally so they do not even set up a time frame). I had taken the entire day off just to have them change the day in the end. Now I have a gas leak there is no concern or hurry on their part. I closed the valve on the tank and have been without gas for two weeks waiting for my appointment day. Definitely going to switch services if available in my area. more

Called around and found that there are much better deals out there. Tank rental at Discount Propane runs 120.00 a year where tank rental at AmeriGas is 66.00 a year. Unbelievable. more

Poor service - questionable charges 5/28/2010

Terrible. I believe I was charged for much more propane than I was using. At one point the tank was disconnected. They never came out and reconnected. I finally told them to come pick up the tank. Took the tank full of propane and gave no receipt for it. Not optomistic about getting a refund for the gas I paid for in the tank. They said they would evaluate after pickup and pump out charges and min usage charges to see if I get anything back. more

DISCOUNT PROPANE 5/18/2010

Similar to the prior reviews....6 years ago when they first came out to install the gas tank for our pool heat, the tech tried to tell my inlaws (who were at the house that day) that I had requested the gas tank be left above ground and not buried...what?? Then, when I got home that day, there was a huge pile of dirt left on the lawn and he had not hauled it away, as promised by the Discount Propane office. \r We have also had several issues with the charges, as we only rarely use the gas heat for the pool, but apparently we still need gas to be refilled quite often??? more

DO NOT USE!!!!!! 3/3/2009

We found out they were double charging us for the price per gallon. If we had not realized this they would have continued to over charge us! Also check your meters! Know how much gas is in the tank before they come to fill. more

Charged for unused propane 7/15/2008

This company was charging for propane not used. Observed the delivery man not checking meter and giving an estimate on use of propane on a disconnected line. more
