Direct From Philly

It is one of the best sandwhiches that I have eaten in South Florida.... I'm always looking for a great deli sandwich and this one surpasses my expectations... and "da bomb" fries... are DA BOMB!!!! more

Steve went way outta his way to deliver my steak sandwich and them delicious wings MAN!!!! ITS THE BIZOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! even though my location was outta his range he still left the shop and brought my lunch to me. Direct from Philly will definitely have my business for LIFE!!! Thanks Steve and the Crew for making my day. AMAZING! oh and a little suggestion when u deliver please bring extra napkins.. not for our mouths but for our tears... im crying its so good....where have u guys been all my life. lol more

Not bad, got a cheesesteak with whiz and mushrooms and was pretty decent. Bread was soft and steak was dripping in cheese. Tasted a little on the salty side but that was probably because of the amount if whiz. Service was pretty fast and guys were helpful. Main drawback I would say is the location, a little odd to have to go to a gas station when you don't need gas and only want food. Although i imagine it has mostly to do with probably really low rent Hopefully they'll do well enough where they can have a stand alone location. more

Just wanna say this is some of the best food and customer service ever. i called around 9:40-9:45 knowing that they could be closing soon, BUT, steve went out of his way to bring me 2 philly cheessteaks that i already love so much, just wanna say steve me and my cousin are sitting here right now, very disappointed because the sandwiches are gone. I cant wait till my next encounter with your fantastic sandwiches! more

If you let yourself be put off by getting a sandwich from a gas station you will have missed one of the best sandwiches of all time.\r What a great combination of fantastic bread, flavorful and well seasoned meat(not overly salty thankfully) and melted cheese of your choosing. Doesn't get much better that this and believe me I am a hard nut to crack, I love to cook and understand what it takes to deliver a sandiwch of this caliber. Next time I'll try the chicken philly, it looks awesome also. Bravo guys!!!!!!! more

Best Philly Cheese Steak in Broward!! It blows "Big Al's" and "Spanky's" out of the water!! Great quality meat and cheese. Its located in INSIDE the Chevron gas station so keep your eyes open while looking for it. Plenty of room to sit and eat as well.....This is a "MUST try"!!!! more

If you like a heaping portion of meat on your cheesesteak then this is the place for you. I had the swiss and mushroom cheesesteak and it was excellent. Definitely the best cheesesteak in the area. more

Just got back from "Direct from Philly" and had to immediately write my review. This was my first visit to this great Philly steak sandwich shop. They sell other menu items, but after I downed my two steak sandwiches and a large fountain soda with two refills, I just had no room to try anything else.\r \r I grew up in Philadelphia and have eaten at every known and unknown steak and sub shop in a hundred mile radius of Philly. I have lived in South Florida since 1974, and have search out steak and sub shops since I have moved here from Philadelphia. I am so very happy I found "Direct from Philly".\r \r They serve their steak sandwiches with a great roll, the most important part. They then over-overstuff their steak sandwich with real tasty shaved steak. Then they add the cheese and other trimmings. They have every type on cheese including Provolone, American, Swiss, and even Cheese Wiz. Then you add the trimmings like grilled onions, real sautéed mushrooms (not canned), sweet peppers, crushed hot peppers, and cherry peppers. They have even more trimmings, but I did not have the opportunity to try them all.\r \r The surroundings are simple, but that is what I expect from a great steak sandwich shop. The prices are cheap, but the ingredients are real quality and the portions are big- a great value.\r \r I was dieting for the last six weeks and lost 15 pounds. This meal at "Direct from Philly" is my first eating binge in those six weeks. It was worth it.\r \r After I woofed down my two steak sandwiches, I had them make me two more to go for the wife and kids.\r \r I highly recommend "Direct from Philly". more
