The outside of the restaurant looks great, and the menu makes my mouth water, but the food always makes my stomach hurt. Kudos to them for their great renovation, and the food choices are good—they have many options, including choices for people who don't feel particularly adventurous. Tasty, but I don't plan on going back anytime too soon. Worth a try, if you want something new. more

Good place for lunch 8/19/2005

Dino’s is a yummy place to eat. Dino’s definitely does not make the best gyros in the world, but gyros are the type of food that is never really bad. What makes Dino’s special is that it is the only fast food-style gyro joint in St. Paul. They recently moved to a newer, bigger location, and seem to be still adjusting to the new setup. Sometimes your order gets mixed up with the rest of the lunch rush and you stand and watch 15 other people order, get their food, and go to eat while you are waiting for yours. Nonetheless, I always leave the restaurant with a full belly and a smile on my face. more

Downhill Dinos 8/18/2005

To be honest I want to like Dino Gyros. I used to like Dinos Gyros. But now, every time after I go there I end up feeling sick. Maybe the food doesn’t agree with me, I don’t know. I do know that I would much rather go to the Black Sea Restaurant. That has better food and better prices. more

Gold Standard Gyros 8/18/2005

Dino's is the biggetty-bomb! I remember when my family used to be outnumbered by workers, but in their new location they are really doing well. I recommend any of the gyros, especially the regular and the feisty one. The fries are always hot and plentiful. They also have beer and wine from Greece, which is rare for fast food. Definitely worth a weekly trip! more
