Dimple Records Sells Damaged Goods 4/14/2006

Like alot of music stores today, this one also sells used CDs. Unfortunately, I got stuck with a extremely scratched disc. I would have tried to return it, but I realized that if they would buy this CD in this condition from a person, would they really let me return it simply because it was scratched if they found the condition to be acceptable in the first place? Do not buy used CDs here. They do have a large poster selection, however. more

Dimple is a great resource for used, indie, hard to find as well as new music. They have a good trade in program as well as a frequent shoppers deal. They also sell concert tickets to places like The Boardwalk, so you can avoid those convience charges. They have live shows sometimes too. Parking and prices are all good! more

Dimple Records 8/20/2005

The first time I heard of Dimple Records was when I won a gift certificate to the place in a raffle. When going there to spend my certificate, I found it to be like many other record stores. It did have a lot of variety in music, which I liked the most. Also, there are other entertainments for sale such as DVDs. You can find your latest favorite CDs here. Overall it’s like any other record store. more

Great store for disenfranchised youth 8/17/2005

This seems like the perfect store for Generation X or Generation Y customers. The ambiance can best be described as Warehouse. But don't let that deter you. This store has a huge selection of new and used music, as well as videos and video games. They also carry counter-cultural items, from magazines to novelties to head-shop items (behind the glass case). The used music has an impressive variety, but sometimes it's too impressive. A lot of the odder CDs will get lumped into one big bin at the end of the section, which makes it hard to find things. more

The Best Used CD Selection 6/30/2005

This location has such a large selection of Used CD's which is so helpful when on a budget or looking for a cd that many cd stores might not normally stock. Like one time I found a rare Fan Club issue of a Paul McCartney cd for only 6 bucks. So its a store that you look through it and each visit in you might not find the same thing twice but has the great ability that the customer can listen to the cd or dvd before buying it in the used section. more
