Dimitri's Pizzeria

Dimitri's is in my opinion the best pizza I have ever tasted! The atmosphere is not the cold mean feeling you get every time you walk into a dominos or pizza hut,but more of a warm family feeling. You are always treated very nicely. I eat there about 3 times a week now,and the atmosphere there is so easygoing, when I ordered a pizza I decided to change the order more than once and they seemed happy to do it for me. The workers seem like they are enjoying themselves while they work. I have talked to the owner on occasion and he was a perfect gentleman. When you order your pizza you can watch the workers make your pizza and when they are not making pizza you can watch them hand cut their fresh topping or toss the dough in the air. This is some of THE BEST PIZZA I have ever had!! My wife heard about it from a friend at her work and convinced me to go there. (i was a loyal pizza factory customer) when we got there we were greeted by a very friendly girl and a house full of families and teenagers, we orderd two pizza's one an all meat (for me) then my wife got one of their signature pizza's the ALFREDO she also added ARTICHOKE HARTS! We got our drinks i was thrilled to see they had APPLE BEER we sat down and waited patiently.....After about twenty five minutes our pizzas arrived! they were steaming hot and loaded with cheese I COULD'NT STOP EATING i never eat my crust and i ate almost 6 slices CRUST AND ALL!! We got a box and took the rest home. My wife (who might be the pickiest eater ever) said it was the best pizza she'd ever had! We found our new favorite place! Pros: AMAZING PIZZA! NEAT PAINTINGS! This place was horrible. First, when I called to make my order, the person on the other end was absolutely rude. I asked for the simplest items and they treated me like I was asking for Oreo's on my pizza. Then I go to pick up my pizza and the employee picked up the spatula thing off the floor to get my pizza out of the oven. Then, they took a pizza slicer that had been sitting there EXTREMELY dirty just full of filth. After the employee cutting my pizza wiped his sweat from his head I asked for his manager and he said, ""we dont have managers here"". The pizza was not completely cooked all the way through and when I called the next day to speak to some sort of authority, the ""owner"" basicly acted like i was lying to him about my experience. \r \r i WOULD NOT EAT HERE AGIAN EVEN IF I WAS PAID TO DO IT. With so many of the Sit down pizza places going out of business, my wife and I were anxious to find a place that had a restaurant feel and had great Pizza. Dimitris Pizzaria had exactly what we were looking for. We found this place from a previous posting on City Search and decided to give Dimitris a try. The pizza was reasonably priced and was FANTASTIC. The employees were exceptionally nice and were very friendly. We definitely have found our new favorite pizza place in Utah County. Dimitri's is amazing. The best BBQ Pizza I have ever had! (And I am a picky pizza eater). I would recommed this pizza place for anyone- it is family friendly and a great place for teenagers to hang out too! If you want a good pizza, check it out!! more
