Have gone into Dillard's several times, over the years, with several different people. The reception has always been glacially chill to downright hostile, by any sales staff who deigned to notice our existence.
My daughter, who is a size 2 beauty, couldn't even get them to acknowledge her enough to get into a dressing room, when she wanted to try on some clothes.
It's not enough for Dillard's to be thin enough, and, have enough money, to fit into their clothes. I don't know what makes a person worthy, but, that's not it!
The exception is the women at the makeup and perfume counters. For reasons I have yet to fathom, they are always very nice and helpful. This is the place, in most stores, where you encounter more vicious snobbishness, not less, so it weirds me out. However, if I ever go back into Dillard's, it will probably be to buy something from these lovely ladies.
