Cheapest Indian food in the neighborhood 10/31/2007

Great cheap takeout lunch place. They've recently raised their prices on the lunchbox (3 vegetable choices over rice) but it's still a great deal. Don't be shy when ordering.. get exactly the amount and type of vegetables that you want. Pros: price, tasty more

Cheap and Good 7/26/2007

If you're looking for really delicious Indian food or a place to have a romantic date, try the sit down cafe Bombay Talkie a few doors down the block. However, when you just need a quick fill up - lunch on the go or a meal after a night of drinking, this is a great place to go. You can't beat the price, and the guys behind the counter are always kind. I stop here at least once a week and usually get a lentil, veggie paratha combo - which always satisfies. Dile Punjab Deli is no frills Indian on the cheap.\r \r No complaints here... except that I'd love to see them switch to regular cafeteria plates. The food is served on styrofoam which sometimes goes through the microwave to be heated. It doesn't change the taste - at least that I can tell - but that can't be good for you... or the environment. Pros: Cheap, Fast, Filling Cons: Styrofoam Plates more
