What is wrong with people in tucson? the food was great but the red plastic cups ruined everything? Vila THAI IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN TUCSON! If you shop at walmart you might want to go elsewhere. It's called Vila Thai not Dila :) and I think the food is wonderful & very authentic. I know the tables are cheap but who cares? food is great and I know the owner personaly she was my culinary teacher, I htink she has great advice to offer about the Thai cusine. I highly suggest you go, if cheap atmosphere will just ruin it for you then don't go. But, the spring rolls rock! Pros: Authentic Thai cusine more

We recently went to Dila after being recommended it by two different friends. Sorry to say, we will never be going back. To start off the place is lacking in atmosphere with haphazard decorations and topped off with cheap tables and chairs, paper napkins, and the red plastic soda cups that one expects to find at a cheap pizza place. When we had some questions about the vague happy hour menu, the owner came over with "quite" an attitude and was very rude. The waiter we had was great however and made the rest of our experience better. The food was authentic and the portions generous, but for 12+ dollars, it was the equivalent of a 7 dollar Thai dish elsewhere. Also, ingredients came in our food that weren't listed in the menu. That was somewhat annoying. Overall, the food was good, but due to the pricing, atmosphere, and overall cheap look and attitude of the place, my wife and I will not be returning. Pros: Authentic Thai Cons: High priced, cheap ambience, and an owner with a not so good attitude more
