I almost feel bad for the old dude that owns it, i honestly don't know how he does it. I just moved to town looking for a place to buy vinyl and this was closer than going to Nashville shops, after going 4 days in a row and striking conversation with the guy and buying records he didn't remember me day after day. after the 4th day of walking in and getting the speech ""3 days off games and DVDS, vinyls over here starts with ACDC etc...."" It's like come on man you told me the same speech the past 3 days in a row. ANyways the inventory is very small for vinyl, there seems to be a lot more cds and tapes and games though.
DO NOT buy vinyl here it's a scam, hardly anything has a price tag on it, so when you want something you have to give it to the old guy who proceeds upstairs to his loft with another employee and they sit their for 30 minutes on the computer determining the retail value. SO unless you wanna pay out the ass, avoid this store. All the records are in really beat up non-store condition, the kind real stores have in the bins on the floor for $1, and he'll try to sell even the most worhtless p.o.s for 9.99.... I asked about 2 frank sinatra LPS and thelonius monk re-issue, told me $60 60 80 respectively... haha i just laughed they were in worse condition than the same album i saw at Phonoluxe in the 3/for $5 bin. Make the trip to Grimey's or Phonoluxe, 2 great shops, or even downtown to broadyway street there are several.
And while i was checking out i noticed he was selling used nintendo 64 games for 12.99!!!!!! lol
