I proposed to my fiance here, and can say if you are looking to impress, choose this restaurant. I coordinated with the catering manager Traci and the receptionist Rachael, and both did a great job making the night unforgettable. The view here is spectacular, but this has got to be one of the most overrated places we have ever eaten at in terms of the actual food. I am a vegetarian and my husband is a meat eater. When we arrived, there was one vegetarian meal on the menu and we were told that unlike what citysearch states regarding the kitchen encourages asking for something different, we were told they don't do that there. And the place was not even busy the night we were there. Maybe 2 or 3 tables on the inside and eating outside there were 2 or 3 tables with people at them as well. So there wasn't even the issue of being a super busy night. Both my vegetarian meal and my husband's were incredibly salty. We couldn't even taste the actual food. All we tasted was salt. If you want to go there for a spectacular view, go and order drinks. But I wouldn't eat there again. Very disappointing. Pros: View Cons: Food more

I've been here twice so far, and it is hands-down my favorite restaurant in Arizona! The service is amazing, and the food is just incredible. The whole dining experience is well worth the cost. On both visits, Chef Flowers created a special vegetarian dish for me that was out of this world, and he personally came to the table to greet us and ask about our food preferences. He is a magician in the kitchen, and my hypersensitive tastebuds truly appreciate his culinary talent. more

Special place for a special occasion! The staff is so attentive, every need was met before having to utter a word. Prepare for a big bill at the end but it was worth every dime (or hundred in this case!) The view is spectacular! Ask for a window seat when you make a reservation or patio if its warm. more

Chef Flowers has made this restaurant what it is. He is the most thoughtful, caring and personal chef we have ever known. His culainary expertise is above all other chefs in the valley. It was a drive (from the east valley) but worth it. The decor and the view were awesome. The food was outstanding. What made oue evening even better was the service, it was the best. We took our 4 1/2 yr old with us and the staff was so attentive to not only our needs, but to our daughter, which made it a very enjoyable evening for us. The Setting the lighting the mood is great for romance. I loved the service the food and the view. Took tons of pictures and loves the grounds even out side the hotel. Would go back again.....
