Worst

Not recommended. Though they do have a large selection, the prices are quite inflated... and good luck bargaining with them. Buying on internet, or at gun shows is the way to go....

Dick's Gun Room is not Gander Mountain or Cabela's but rather is a shop for the collector and shooter. They specialize in unique firearms with historical value. That is not to say that you cannot find modern firearms like Glocks and Sig-Sauers, KelTecs and Bersas all for sale at competitive prices. What you truly receive is a wonderful atmosphere of patrons and employees with true knowledge and love of the history of firearms. I have been collecting firearms all my life and have never run across a more knowledgeable group or a more eclectic selection of truly fine firearms. So if you are looking for a modern firearm or one of many classics, I highly recommend a visit to Dick's Gun Room. But if you are just trying to beat someone up on price for the ONE gun you want to own...then there are probably better places. more

Oh, by the way, if you buy one on the internet and want to have it sent to them (must go through FFL), you better hope they don't have that model you bought in stock, or they won't do it for you.\r \r Overall i think they are a good establishment despite my own experience, if you have the money for their prices (not much lower than list + tax). more

Dick's is the place to go when you're looking for a firearm you can't find anywhere else. They don't always have the best prices, but they have a LARGE selection. They're also authorized by many manufacturers. PROS: Large selection. CONS: Average prices. more
