Dianne Durham's Skyline Gymnastics

Best kept secret in the neighborhood! They have classes for my kids who are two different skill levels. I like how they listen to the needs of the parents and are willling to arrange classes to fit busy families' schedules. Very liberal policy about making up missed classes. They make my kids want to learn new skills. The talk around the dinner table is always about gymnastics - one dreams of being on the team at Skyline, the other dreams of learning new skills to show off to her frineds. I'm sure the instructors at Skyline will help them both achieve their dreams! more

Skyline moved to 4121 N. Ravenswood in November. The space is so much nicer than the older one. They have more equipment and have done alot of work with the new facility. Free parking here too compared to the old location with free wireless. Our children love this place and that is what counts the most. Our family is impressed with this gym and highly recommend it ti everyone. Pros: Great facility, friendly coaches and real value for your $ Cons: None!!!! more

My daughter took classes here and was screamed at until she cried. The bathrooms are so dirty that I was afraid to use them, they never answer the phone, and won't return calls unless you owe them money. I think that Diane Durham is a nice person, but she is unorganized and doesn't seem to care about anything but her ""team"", and what is with the nails? more

Good program and our children have enjoyed coming here for years. It is one of the few private clubs in the city and has really helped our children. more

Shannon, you did not do this business any favors with your juvenile ""explanation"" and blame on all others. Many people reading posts such as this know to take unfavorable ratings with a grain of salt. You corroborated and reinforced the other user's experience of unprofessionalism. Good luck finding supporting parents to help develop your program and facilities. I, for one, will take my child elsewhere. more

I am so sorry for my explanation before. I did not mean to upset anyone I was trying to keep our name good but I kind of made it worse by ""trashing"" everyone else. I wasn't trying to make anyone feel mad or anything. I'm not sure how to phrase my apology sorry. But i do want everyone to know that I am truly sorry for what I said and thank you for pointing out to me how my other review was bad i didnt realize it until i read over it and looked at it in another perspective. Don't waste your money on this place. They are so unorganized and they have no customer service. Never returning phone calls is the norm in this place - until they need payment or something from you - then you get hounded. And the terrible customer service starts from the top down. Dianne Durham could careless about her loyal customers - she doesn't return messages or emails either. This place should be out of business. Honestly, I don't know why it isn't. more

As one of the few gymnastic schools in the city - one that is truly dedicated to teaching your kids all the element sof competitive acrobatics - Skyline should be packed with waiting lists to get in. However - to my experience - the teachers are lazy, and seem quite bored while teaching young children. In addition - phone calls NEVER get returned. I am consistenly disappointed in this place but do not have any other options in the area...I can never get into the Peterson program - it fills up within 5 minutes of open enrollement. So - if you don't mind all that - it's a great place. One thing that is nice is the kids playroom for sibs to hang in during class. Dirty, yes - but functional nonetheless. They desperately need new management over there - does Dianne Durnham know how her place is being run??? I would hope that if she did - she would not tolerate it for a minute.
