My husband and I went to this place for mani-pedi's. Since he broke his toes twice he has a very hard time cutting them because they are ingrown. I discussed this with the owner (a man) and asked him if he would be able to do the job. He said yes. Then he proceeded to put an acrylic nail on my husbands toe telling him that it would get better I guess because the nail would grow straight, but he never actually cut the nails on the side at all to get rid of the pain. I proceeded to explain it to him but he didn't do anything, he just walked away and got another girl who didn't speak english to finish the job (which was just the superficial scrubbing and applying lotion). I explained again to him that he needed to do what was requested and when he was done with his customer he continued to ignore my request until I had to mention it another time. He had his wife do some superficial clipping and that was that. He seemed very annoyed as though he was doing us a favor. Typically I am not a complainer and even through the entire event I was never once rude or pushy. I even tipped them 15% which is less than they deserved. The worst part is that the entire time they pretended not to understand, when in fact they understood completely. Needless to say, my poor husband was uncomfortable and upset. He felt very disrespected as they made him wait so long ignoring his requests. I will be repeating this review for them wherever there is an opportunity. I am really disgusted with the level of customer service these days. Money doesn't grow on trees and I have made a resolute decision to always stand up for what I want because if you don't, people will undoubtedly take advantage of you. I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemies.
