If you are looking for a new neighborhood to call home in Timberlake I would not recommend Timberlake Meadows. When we bought our homes we had restrictive covenants that we agreed to at the time of our sale. These were written by Diamond Land Development for our neighborhood which they started. When Mr Parker sold one of his houses that he built things started going down hill. At the present time there is a storage building sitting beside one of the houses in the driveway which is against the covenants. There are two different style fences on the same property. One extends into the front yard. The other sits on the neighboring properties and looks as though it is about to fall down. Covenants state only 2 dogs. Same people have around 7. They leave very bright lights on all night that shine into neighbors homes. Mr Parker wont have them turn these off after 10 as requested. Same homeowner leaves trash can, lawnmower, christmas tree(yes its october now), and other debris beside storage building sitting in driveway. This has been brought to Mr Parkers attention also but he hasnt stepped in to remedy. Mr Parker has raised our dues from 150 to 300 without notifying everyone when he did it. We only have a couple lots left that are unsold and they are his. We take care of our property all the way to the road but he wants us to pay for upkeep on his it seems. He is supposed to take care of burm behind our houses on the property he owns. About 2 years ago he had someone plant a few trees and put down pine needles. Some of the trees died and weeds immediately came thru needles which we have had to spend a small fortune on roundup to keep under control. If you are ever in the neighborhood stop and ask a homeowner about these issues and Mr Parker and diamond land development owned by Mr Parker and C Derwin Charles.
Pros: Most of the neighbors are great.
Cons: Developers wont follow their own rules that they wrote. Things they allow bring our property values down. These things go own where houses are priced over 300k
