If it seems to good to be true it is. Stay away. This company has changed their names many times. We joined and were to get a free cruise and 2 round trip air fare. Didn't get any and lost 2000 and couldn't get it back. Nothing but crooks!!! Stay away. more

We were lured to Rock Hill, S.C. on the proviso that if we attend the 90-minute presentation they would give us 2 free airfare tickets, a free 3 or 4-day cruise AND free hotel stay for 2 nights. It was a marketing agency that contacted us and we never could find out the exact name for the company until we arrived and found out it was a travel club – Diamond Departures. Once we actually sat in the presentation they told us up front that the “gifts” for attending are hard to use but to not let that reflect on them because that was on the marketing agency (their words, not ours). We sat through the presentation and thought the travel club may be a good deal and the representatives kept telling us that this was a one-time offer that we would never get this same offer again. After being pressured we purchased membership. Upon leaving and doing a little research, our minds were changed immediately. There were a handful of negative reviews regarding what the membership offered. Once we received our log-in information to the company’s online membership portal, I was shocked to find that the Fantasy Value vacations (one of their selling points) were not the value deal presented to be. The Fantasy Value vacations that appeared on the powerpoint presentation (7-day wine country trips, trips to Ireland, etc.) started between $800-$900/person. Once we got onto the website the starting price was actually at $2K+/person. Another selling point was their Half-Off dining options. You could go online and purchase Half-Off certificates to 5-star restaurants and several times they specifically cited Ruth’s Chris. Well, Ruth’s Chris was not on our list of restaurants. We have decided this isn't for us. We have tried several times to contact someone, anyone, and still have yet to talk with them. We’ve talked to the marketing agency and RBC – they do booking for Diamond Departures. One of their reps did tell us that the real value to be had is heir Condo rental program-something we told them repeatedly we weren't interested in. more

After getting this wonderful presentation, my husband and I decided to join. When I got home, I started looking up reviews and I didn't like what I saw. They told us we have 2 days after if we wanted to cancel, so I called the next day. The lady told us she was gonna send an email to a person that could help us out. I've tried several other times since then and have gotten the same answer. Here we are 10 days later and still no responses. Looks like I'm going to file a fraudulent complaint. Bottom line, don't do it! more

Be weary, and remember: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! After paying our down payment and gaining access to the member site, we did our research and found that most of the offers we could find just as cheap, if not cheaper, on other websites ourselves. There may be a few deals to be had, but far and few between, we did not find a single one! The dates are selective, must travel when they say and there ARE (regardless of what they tell you) hidden fees. All inclusive trips are listed for $240 for 7 nights, and when you call to book, they inform you of $500 per night/ per person "all inclusive fees." Cruises are the same price. This is a new office in the area, and there aren't any reviews out about it, so if you happen to look them up, I hope this helps someone! more
