The staff was extremely knowledgeable, kind, willing to help, and personable. Everyone I come into contact with each time I go to DC are friendly and very willing to bend over backwards to help me. I'm not wealthy, just a college student who is engaged to the love of my life, and we are treated like royalty when we go to the store. I already made a rule: My fiancé can't purchase jewelry for me if it doesn't come from DC. He agrees 100%. The price you pay for such a quality product is unbeaten. Everyone thinks my jewelry cost 2-3x as much as we paid, but the secret is DC. They provide high quality for the best price. I will be a lifelong customer...never going anywhere else! I highly recommend John Smith for any purchases, he's very kind, understanding, explains things to you so you can understand--he loves educating you about the jewelry you are interested in, and doesn't push you above your budget. He takes an interest in what you do as a person and how your jewelry will fit into your lifestyle. Every time I walk through the doors of DC, I am greeted by a hug from John, and an excited greeting about how everything is going and he is very willing to clean my jewelry and get my fiancé and I anything we'd like--water, champagne, soda, etc (at no charge). HIGHLY recommended place to shop. I just wish that, as a student, I had more disposable income! I'd buy a lot of their (very affordable) many pieces under $1000 (even quite a few under $200). more

John Smith is great person to work with. He really listens to you, takes into account everything you say & helps pick out things you couldn't imagine yet is perfect! His ideas of how to customize a ring so it was BEYOND my dream ring yet WAY less than the original ring I got my idea from is great. The prices are actually cheaper than the "mall stores". My FH and I got a diamond ring, a over 3/4 carat, in 14k WG for $700 less than Kay's advertised 3/4 carat in WG & our diamond is higher quality & larger. My FH and I would not go anywhere else. DC cleans, polishes, and re-dips your ring for free. No "warranty" or "service plan" needs to be purchased for them to ensure they sell you a quality product. The on-site jewelers are great, knowledgeable and even comes and talks to you to ensure the work they will be doing is exactly what you want. HIGHLY recommend this store to ANYONE. I'm a little biased and think my ring's better than my friends who go to mall stores ;) more
