this is a yummy bakery. for everybody... especially the cakes. we always come here for our cakes when we don't have time to go out and get specialty cakes at like patty cakes in long beach or portos in glendale... but these are good fruit cakes and mochas and such... and they are usually busy too. but again, there is a large parking lot. you don't usually have to woory about parking. sometimes tho you do because it's a smaller plaza... and they can get pretty busy... so go during non busy hours unless you should expect to wait awhile there... and they have more than just cakes, they have little goodies too... more

diamond bakery is where you will find all types of chinese baked goods from char siu bao to egg tarts to chinese style birthday cakes. their strawberries and cream birthday cakes are affordable and light and fluffy. one of my favorites! they also sell mooncakes during mooncake season in september. more

Good pastries and cakes 9/1/2005

Diamond Bakery is a pretty good place for cakes and such. They do serve pretty well-made cakes, desserts, pastries - about anything you can think of. They're top notch, and delicious. The price is pretty expensive, compared to the much cheaper restaurants nearby. Then again, the desserts here are pretty good, and such places in Monterey Park are lower in frequency than, say, boba stores. more

Nice cakes! 8/5/2005

My boss ordered a jello cake there. It looks beautiful and everybody loved it!! The wipcream is fresh and the design of the cakes there is wonderful. The price there is reasonable. They have ice cream cakes, cookies and some Chinese cakes too. The bakery is inside a plaza. It is a little bit hard to find. more
