Diamante Day Spa & Salon

I did not like going to this spa at all. I usually pamper myself at least 5-6x year and I have never written a bad review. I do not like to complain because I do think a lot of opinions are simply based on personal preference but I would like to share mine in case someone of my "type of person" reads this. I booked myself a package and judging by the nice web site I was excited about my upcoming 4 hour session. Unfortunately my experience lasted about half an hour only and I just had to leave. Everyone in the spa was very nice and friendly but the whole ambience of the place was something I could not get over. I am used to fresh smells, white sheets and towels, light colored uniforms, clean showers, amenities like lotions, nice body products and enlightening sensual feels. This place was dark filled with heavy oriental smells, dark brown walls and dark stone floors, the shower curtain, shower head and the wooden board on the floor were moldy, the lockers would not close properly (had to switch 3 times), towels in showers and the massing rooms (did not end up having a massage, just peaked in)are dark brown or dark green - used probably for a long time so the softness is gone, there was no soap or lotion in the shower room and the whole place is small, cramped up with lots and lots of stuff everywhere and feels almost claustrofobic. I did start with the zen bath but got turned off as soon as I realized there was another lady bathing there. I was told that the tub was just opened before I got in and the lady must have got in there by mistake - which may be true but all the bad feelings just kept adding up, so I got out, took at least a quick shower washing the unpleasant feeling off with a cheap shampoo wearing my own sandals so I did not have to step on anything, apologized and left home. I pampered myself in my own bathroom trying to delete the memory of what I have just been through. As I said - maybe it was just a bad day, maybe the cleaning lady got sick, or maybe I am just spoiled but I did not enjoy anything about it there. It felt depressing, messy and hiding bacteria everywhere in the darkness. more

I found Diamante on Google and made an appointment for a hot stone massage, facial, and mani-pedi. I got a little lost on my way there because it is hard to see from the street and even though I was 15 minutes late they were still cheerful. The spa is upstairs in a commercial building and is spacious. Melanie's hot stone massage was AMAZING and I highly recommend her. I felt a bit rushed in my facial but my skin looks fantastic. My nails also look great :) more

This spa has something for everyone! There are Turkish baths, a wet table, manicures and pedicures, facials, hair and makeup styling, and several different types of massages. Relaxing décor and friendly staff. more

I had the absolute best massage of my life. I heard it was good, and my friend bought me a gift certificate. I think it was called Infinty. It was 3 hours long and included meditation, breathing techniques, aromatherapy, shiatzu massage, scalp and foot reflexology, then she played these crystal bowls that I could hear/ feel through my entire body. Every thought left my mind and all I could do was feel my body. (thats never happened before... I read about it in a book called the Power of Now). After the session I was just floating. It was blissful. Everyone in the spa was so positive and nice! I felt like I died and went to heaven. So I had to share my experience. Another friend of mine said she had her facials at Diamante and they do a special DNA facial treatment that actually restores your skin to its youthful state using pure frozen DNA. She looks amazing! more

My experience at Diamante was exceptional. I had a body wrap, couples massage and oxegenated bath done and left there feeling brand new. The staff was attentive and genuine; they truly cared about my comfort and enjoyment. I would recommend this spa to everyone in need of an amazing spa experience! more

Mykola gives great relaxing massages and it was a pleasure meeting Tara on my way out. I loved the ambiance and decor. I don'tt hink it could have been any better. I will be back for sure. more

Got a massage here over Memorial Day weekend - Allison really knows what she is doing and is a master at her craft. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. I felt like a rubber band when I left - FANTASTIC! I HIGHLY recommend Diamante Day Spa - there are a lot of others that are very pricey, and then those are the cheap places - but this place is full of PROFESSIONALS!! I will definitely go back! more

I got one phenomenal hair cut from this place, and returned a couple months later excited for the same kind of service. It was not to be...ever again! The same person who cut my hair the first time somehow completely threw his pinking shear sanity to the skies and sculpted my 20something year old head into a 40 year old butch lesbian Garth from Wayne's World. I actually even went back to this same guy a third time, still fooolishly blinded by how wonderful that first cut was---and I left crying, looking worse than EVER before. It is safe to say while also getting the best hair cut of my life, the same man gave me the WORST hair EVERRR, beyond any and all attractive repair. When he was finished I just sat there looking at it like, YOU DID THE SAME EXACT THING AS LAST TIME THAT I ASKED YOU NOT TO AND ITS PROBABLY JUST ALL MY FAULT AND WHY WHY WHY WITH THE PICTURES I GAVE YOU WOULD YOU DO THISSSS,THIS,THIS, WHY would you make me look this way and think it's attractive?! It seriously looks like I hacked off my hair myself, and I paid extensively for it. I look like a child's cheap ugly lesbian barbie doll. The receptionist asked me what was wrong, as I quietly, dismally stared at the wall trying not to let go of how crippling it was weighing me down, and then she offered to have a different stylist fix it for free the following Monday, "She wanted to help me feel better about it"--- They jerked me around for 3 WEEKS after that, until I finally gave up. Why the H*LL would I EveR go back? Oh, and don't even think about getting a pedicure here, it's 40 dollars for a snooty woman to do half as well as a place that does it for $25, the OnLY difference is that they offer tea and a warm herbal compress. more

Long story short, I get brazillian waxes done on a regular basis and they never take more than 10 min. This one took 55 min .. yes 55 min of torture b/c they didnt know what they were doing AND ontop of it they gave me an attitude at the front desk b/c I had to run next door for my spray tan (this was 2 days before my wedding) after 45min b/c I had an appt. there as well (thinking it was only going to take 15min at the most). They also charged $85 for the wax and I pay $24 at European Wax now with 1/10 of the pain and time wasted! They are rude and a rip-off ... never go there for a wax or a facial (don't even get me started on that experience... the wax was the final straw, I never went back after that). The massage was fine though but you can get that anywhere as well. Pros: Great massages Cons: Horrible facials and waxes and OVERPRICED more
