When I hear DiRienzo's bakery, I think mostly of those hot steamy rolls that we were treated to on Sunday mornings. Now the bakery has cookies, goodies, and deli meats, and is a great place to stop to pick up some of that delicious fried fish during lent. I'm convinced that it's still the best bread in town. more

DiRienzo Brothers, 102 years of great baking! 3/16/2006

I can remember smelling the bread on Sunday Mornings when we stopped in after mass to get our "hot pies"..it was as delicious now as it was then. The only thing I miss is seeing the big yellow trucks making home deliveries..Oh the trucks are still yellow, but its not the same thing!. Nothing beats the plain hot pie..eat it cold for the best flavor! more
