My experience at Di Palma was terrible. If you're looking to ruin an evening on the town; eat here. Although the staff was friendly and attentive, the overpriced food was awful. The salmon I ordered was severely undercooked and appeared to have been frozen at some point. When I asked that it be taken back, but that I was willing to try the salmon again, my apologetic waitress brought the same dish back a few minutes later after it apparently had been microwaved! My companion's steak was overcooked. This restaurant is not at all worth it. Pros: friendly staff Cons: , price more

Best Italian in the City 3/17/2003

I recently had the pleasure of dining at DiPalma, and I had the best meal of my life!! The gnocchi were light, and delicious, filled with ricotta cheese and sage. They were even better then the gnocchi I had in Tuscany. Service was also superb. Another bonus was the live entertainment at the bar. The singer entertained us with sinatra, dean and other greats. oh one last surprise was the free valet parking. This place is a must visit, my wife and I can't wait to go back again. Pros: delicious pasta, great service, free valet Cons: none to mention more

Out of this world! 1/16/2003

Stumbled upon the DiPalma's while in Old City and couldn't be happier that we did! The atmosphere, food and service was truly impeccable and completely romantic! FYI - the restaurant has a small bar downstairs which was empty when we were there - ate dinner with no one else in the room and just the bartender waiting on us! WONDERFUL! more

nice surprise 10/5/2002

We were just walking around Olde City and wandered into this place. What a find. The food was excellent, the service great and the wine list impressive. The prices were reasonable too! I highly recommend it. more
