My care was coordinated by Dr. Dharma and her nursing assistants. They were both supportive of our needs and wants during the pregnancy. We never felt pressured to do anything and had control, even during labor. My husband wanted to go with me on my prenatal visits, so he got to know them and was at ease on the big day. In fact, I think he got to the point where he was talking more during our regular prenatal visits than I was because he liked going so much. When my husband was forgetting to take video/pictures as my son was being born, the nurse-midwife Suzee, who was delivering my son said, "Grab the camera, Dad." I appreciate her reminding him so that I have video of holding my son for the first time.
