Good: The only Dr. I like in this practice is Carlson, I was his patient from newborn until I was 19 and then three years later I began to bring my daughter to him as a newborn. I've seen all the other doctors here (for myself or my daughter) I don't like any of the others.. Bad: Oddly enough, Dr. Carlson is actually the reason I'm leaving. He is refusing to care for my son when he is born because I'm opting for a birth center rather than a hospital to deliver my boy. Since he is the only Dr. I like in this practice we are switching to pediatricians who are supportive of the choice I am making to give birth to my child naturally (without out being strapped down to a hospital bed and without the use of medications). Improvements: The improvements don't really matter to me since we are no longer patients there.. more

Good: Nothing.. Bad: I called PMA to be told to hit the road because I do not do immunizations according to their schedule. When they thought they were getting a long-term client they were pleasant but when the discussion turned to vaccinations they changed their tune and today's SICK appointment for my toddler vanished. Doctors take an oath to do no harm. There is no relationship here, only an authoritarian view and an abandonment of their oath to do no harm.. more

Love it there! Awesome doctors. I had 3 kids in as many years and it took me a few try's with various pediatric doctors till I found the right fit. Staff is pleasant, scheduling is great, and doctors are so good with both me and my kids. Would recommend them to anyone. more

I have been using Pediatric Medical for close to two years. The location is easy to find on Route 1 between State and Burmont Roads. They waiting room is divided into two sides - One for well and the other for sick. They typically run on schedule with appointments and I have never had a problem getting an appointment for my daughter when she is sick - They can usually fit us in within an hour or two of the time we call. All the Dr's at the practice are great and are willing to answer questions and take time to discuss issues at each visit. The nurses are very friendly and comforting to the children and parents (who like needles?) Parents of newborns will like the separate entrance they have. When you enter a nurse takes you and your newborn directly into a room so that he/she is not exposed to other children in the lobby. more

I have been taking my son to this practice since he was an infant and I highly recommend them. They are afflilated with The University of Pennsylvania. The office is clean and sanitary. The office personnel are friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly the physicians are wonderful. They speak to the children on their level and make them feel comfortable. They also have no problems answering questions and take time with their patients. The office offers evening and Sat hours. The doctors also have a phone hour each morning when you can call and speak directly to a physician. more
