I LOVE THIS PLACE.... Everything is homemade, made to order and DELICIOUS. It's like Mom is in the kitchen cooking for you. The portions are HUGE...twice the size of other places, you won't even believe your eyes, the first time you go there. Someone at another table actually took a picture of their prime rib because it was so big! The crab sauce on my stuffed flounder was to die for and they even serve TRIPE! This place is like no other......It's an old fashioned little haven in this fast food world. Family oriented....Kids draw pictures for the walls while dinner is prepared....charming. 10/26/06\r This establishment is small to begin with. When we entered it was cramped with patrons and waitstaff walking by the hostess stand. The hostess did not notice us because she was involved in a personal conversation that lasted about 2 minutes before I interupted. I only said excuse me and the hostess gave me a cross look. When we were finally seated, we were not given menus or the hand written daily specials paper. I had to ask another table to see the specials and we got our own menus. EVERYTHING was at least $10.00 overpriced and they even charged for refills on soda. The rest of our experience was satisfactory. The food was very good and they gave plenty of portions. However, I do not believe we will return. Our final bill for 3 meals (not even the most expensive), 2 appetizers, 2 deserts, 1 Appletini and 3 sodas with 3 refills was $135.00. \r Pros: Food was good Cons: Overpriced and samll more
