Devling Place Apartments

I have been here since February and I just love it here! They accomodated me with my dog (med to large) and she loves everyone that she has met!!! I have a few maintenance issues and 95% of them have been taken care of since I moved in. Waiting on parts of the two items that are broken. Lots of kids and pets here and everyone has been so nice and friendly. I do have one issue is that they need another maintenance employee, the one we have it GREAT but he works 7 day a week!!! When I had water issue over the weekend, he was knocking on my door within the hour. Come by and see us! more

My family moved into Devling Place apartments at the end of February. From the start, the manager has been great. She & her maintenance man got our apartment ready for us in a hurry (we were staying with family), accommodated our pets (large dog, small dog & cat), and have taken care of any issues we've brought to their attention. We have a 9 year old child who likes it here as well- lots of kids to play with, curfew & supervision of kids STRICTLY enforced so we know she is safe. I look forward to a long time here :-) more

I have lived here for 4 years and let me just say we started off to a rocky start. The previous manager was a nightmare at best. Since September it has been like a different place. The office is now smoke free and clean - nothing like it was before. I can honestly say I do not mind going in to pay my rent now, before I would not even send my child up there as it was so smoky in the office. People should give Devling Place a chance. Don't let these reviews be the judge for you as they have A LOT to do with the previous manager which is now thankfully gone!! more

This place is the most disgusting place i have ever lived in. I have lived here since october and they have done nothing that i have asked about the apartment. I actually live in the town houses and since i moved in i have asked and asked to get stuff fixed and 4 months later still nothing has been done. The new manager is really nice but if your even a day late on your rent she is beating and kicking on your door trying to get the money which is very embarassing. The whole place has been infested with cockroaches since we moved in and i have never ever had them any where i have ever lived and they refuse to spray. Now my electricity in my town house is very messed up and its not going to surprise me if the whole place doesn't burn down and they refuse to fix that as well. This isn't the best neighborhood as it is, my car has been broken into several times and my back sliding door doesn't even have a lock on it and they have been saying they would fix it since i moved in which i don't see as being very safe. Since they haven't fixed anything in my apartment I have not payed anything for the last few months and I now have the city inspector coming to look at the whole place.....Oh and i forgot about all of the black mold in every window in the place as well. They are trying to file eviction now but we will see where it goes in court because this is by far the worst place EVER!!!!!! more

Let me just say that I have lived here for two years and hated every bit of it. The old manager would lie, steal, cheat, and do nothing to fix any problems, and also let anyone move in making the complex very unsafe. I finally got fed up after 2 years of a broken down apartment and dealing with her lies and all the criminals and decided to move. Two weeks before I was going to move the owner came back and fired her and put in an amazing new manager who was very receptive and listened to all of my concerns. She gave me a great review to move into my new house, refunded all of my deposit, pet deposit, and was very understanding about me having to abruptly move out. If I hadn't already agreed to sign a new lease and if my boyfriend didn't already get a new job close to our new home I would have loved to stay. I have great faith that the new manager is going to fix things right up just as quickly as she can and weed out all the people that the last manager never should have let in. Although I have had horrible experience in the past, I would now highly recommend this apartment complex. more

I went to devling to apply for a aprtment and I gave the manager a 200 dollar money.She denied me the apartment and kept my 200 dollar deposit so now i have to take her to court.Dont ever live there the manger is ghetto and trashy.They dont fix or do anything to the complex and the manager trys to steal from people they have had many complaints from to the city about the complex they need to fire that manager there asap. more

I moved-out and these people are still causing me problems. DON'T RENT HERE!!!!!!! Can't get anything fixed, kids destroy everything and everyone's property around there, numerous car break-ins, Left the place cleaner and nicer than when I moved-in, 'cause it wasn't clean by any means, and they are tryin' to with-hold almost all my deposit. And the company that owns this place now has recently filed for bankruptcy and is tryin' to re-coup their loss in ANY way they can. Wouldn't not live here ever again even if it was rent free.
