underrated 10/21/2005

when people are in the east 50s they think of buttercup. however, this place - and i've past it forever but only recently gone in - has got to be the most undderrated place in the 'hood. they havent got caugt up in the cupcake craze but their cookies and cakes are great. off the charts great. and in the summers they have homemade ice cream sandwiches. i only wish their hours were better - they shut early more

i walked past this place for years 9/13/2005

but finally went inside after i ate some killer cookies and found out they were from this place. the cookies rivaled levain bakery (for whom i am about to write another review). i would definitely recommend this place for a catering job - they put together a pretty mean platter. i will update more when i scarf down more of their offerings but it all looks real good. more
