I had color put on my hair to cover up highlights. I told them not too dark and no red! I ended up with gothic dark copper hair, nothing like the picture I gave! it was awful!!!!! I had to have my entire head highlighted to get the horrible color out and now it`s grey and falling out!!!! They don`t know what they are doing with color!!!!!- Cons: don`t know what they are doing!!!!! more

I made an appt. for my son to have his hair highlited and cut. We arrived at the salon a few minutes prior to the appt. only to wait 30 minutes before the stylist was ready for him. When discussing the service with the stylist, she made it clear that the service stated on her paper was only a kids haircut. I went back to the receptionist and mentioned what service I had asked for when making the appointment. She clearly remembered and said she was new and must not have put it into the computer the right way. Anyway, the stylist stated that she had no time to do a highlite and I was told that I should reschedule. It was bad enough that we had to wait 30 minutes with a child, but then to be told to reschedule because she did not have time. I walked right out and went somewhere else. This salon wants to act like they are upscale, but in order to be upscale-they need to hire professionals with manners and competency!! What a joke this place is!! Never again! I love my hairstlyist! He is talkative, down to earth and entertaining! I would not go anywhere else. I have finally found my salon! I was able to walk in my first time there and ask them what hair cut would look nice with my face. He had no problem telling me what he thought. I was so thankful, because the previous place that I went when asked the same question, said "" well, lets do a trim for now and when you know what you want come back."" Lets just say I NEVER went back there. Also, I got my first highlights there too. I had no idea what I was going for and they took care of me and of course I loved it!!!! Pros: Pretty much everything Cons: Expensive, but that is what you pay for quality more

i am a first time writer and as long as u follow the directions they give u it should turn out looking great i would know because a couple of my friends got their hair done there and it looks gorgeous so now im thinking of getting it done before school starts. more

To the person who made a nasty post regarding the chemical free straightner I say this: My sister who has long hair got this service done. She has said that her hair looks healthier and softer then what it looked like before the service (which was damaged). My sister used to straighen her hair about 3 times a day and this service def. took off a large amount of time for her to get ready. Pros: great parking, friendly down to earth employees more

I was shocked to see the comment below me saying that this place burned her hair. I just had the straightening done about 2 weeks ago. I love how my hair turned out. Everywhere I go I get compliments on how great it looks. I'm not sure how someone could say that their hair was burnt if there are no chemicals in it. I guess maybe if I didn't follow the explicit directions that were given maybe my hair wouldn't have been as good as it is now. You are told to wash with a sulfer free shampoo and not to wash it for the first 72 hours. Since I've had this done, I have cut 1/2 my time on my hair. more

This salon advertises itself as highend. Yes it is a nice looking salon but the owners and certain stylists are arrogant , obnoxious and irresponsible. I spent $350 on the ""chemical free straightener"" and my hair was completely fried and went curly in less than a week. I went back to complain and try to find a resolution and they took absolutely zero responsibility, blamed me and told me I was lying. They are really nice as long as you're giving them money but if you are unsatisified - watch out---they want nothing to do with you. I have told as many people as possible to avoid this salon. Cons: Arrogant, blameless, rude and nasty more

I really like this place. They cut my hair, square up my van dyke, shave my neck (with warm lather & a straight razor,) & give me a quick shoulder massage for $14. Plus it's only a 10 minute walk from home! Haven't tried any of the other services--massage, nails, tanning, etc.--so I can't comment on those. Pros: Good parking, Skilled & quick Cons: Barber's kinda quiet, Decor's a bit femme, Oprah on TV somtimes more
