Design For You

I sought proposals for my bungalow bathroom restoration from 4 other well known contractors -after I had met William Ross. That is always the recommendation, so I went thru the motions,but I knew already I would choose Design For You, after my initial meeting with William Ross. He is truly enthused about his work and sees a project as more than a job to get done, get paid and get out. He takes a personal interest in his work and his construction crew does as well. He is very organized and methodical.There is a daily schedule and time -line ( with consideration for surprizes that can occur, especially in old homes). He provides almost daily oversite,great design suggestions, returns calls promptly , attends to detail. I had the sense after the project was complete,that I had a very sound, beautiful new bathroom that would remain in this condition without any problems for many , many years. The job took 3 weeks, finished in March of '08 , looks like new and I have had rave reviews from friends, including one who is a very picky designer herself. We were more than happy with Design For You! William and his assistants were extremely helpful in helping us to design a bathroom that was perfect for us. They listened to our thoughts and created exactly what we wanted. We felt like we were very much included in the planning (although with the assistance that we needed) and were consulted throughout the entire project. The workers were very professional yet friendly and we had no problem trusting them with our home during the project. The price was slightly higher than we had hoped, but probably to be expected considering a couple of unexpected problems and changes that we made. The project did take longer than expected, however. We made a couple of changes and there were some issues, but I would still recommend planning for a few weeks or so longer than the said timeframe. I interviewed at least three contracting companies to execute bathroom remodeling, floor refinishing and painting for our condo last summer. After I met William Ross with Design For You there was not a doubt in my mind who I would choose to complete the job. Not only was he knowledgeable and had a great design background, but his cost estimate and timeline was in line with our expectations. Also, unlike many other contractors, they were able to provide all the insurance requirements of our condo association. His team completed the job on time and stayed within our budget. We were (and still are!) very happy with the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone with remodeling/contracting needs - in fact, I have to everyone I know! Before completely remodeling my condominium, I received three designs/proposals/estimates from different firms. The designs and plans from Design for You were by far the most creative and thoughtful. Their proposals for labor and materials were very reasonably priced and their timetables very efficient.\r \r The firm handled the remodel from start to final inspection with minimal involvement from me and maximum involvement from the firm's managing partner, William Ross.\r \r My condo was transformed into a showcase and I am certain that when I sell it, it will yield top dollar.
