Worst experience. No one star for this store. Owner, lady is big cheater. If you buy many items, they will increase price of item by 20 % and also will say that price marked was old , this is new one. Another unbelief cheating one can do is put expired item which you have not taken in chart and add to your bill as grocery no tax without barcode scan. Beware. Keep eye on lady as she is very dishonest person in this world. Don't let them charge unnecessary and refuse items which they charge more than priced marked. Also keep eye on her while scanning as she can add up "" grocery no tax"" items without barcode by typing in bill. Finally watch for dates, as many items has expired is also sell by store. Please consumer department take action against this fraud store. more

This place is a vegetarian's dream grocery store, with a focus on natural and organic goods and a gargantuan selection of fruits, vegetables and vegan products. But carnivores won't feel neglected, as stores also boast a vast selection of top-quality meats, poultry and fish. Also expect fresh-baked goods, house ware, a floral department and a well-stocked vitamin and personal-product section. Deli offers hot and cold prepared foods and artisanal cheeses. more

Dont expect your money back-There is no return policy or refund. Stale food store. They also recycle their bad food in the restaurant Naan Grill next door-Keep away-You will thank me one day!!! more

I think this indian grocery store is not as per my expectations. Food items are not as per the charges. I found more price of certain vegetables and food products. Not providing any kind of discounts to their regular customers. more

bad quality product and bad refund policy 9/29/2008

I just visit twice in desi bazaar at fair oaks, ca 95628, but now i think i won't as quality of few prodcuts are bad especially grains. Even frozen food like okra and many more are not good. its not fresh. And beans red kidney beans are not good, it doesn't get cooked even i cook them for half an hour after keeping them in water for whole night. Also, few snaks are not crispy. Also, they are not providing refunds. Their refund policy is also not good. They should provide refund if product is not statisfactory. Also, if product is used even in very small quantity they are not accepting as it is open, how would we know product is fine or not without using it. This store is not good. more

Poor customer services 9/29/2008

Hello,\r \r I'm pareen , i can never recommend desi bazaar store in 8121 madison ave, fair oaks, sacramento,c a.\r As how can i recommend such store, who keep really outdated and worst quality of products. I bought wheat floor of 20lbs from that store and after few days{aprox 10 days} i found ""weevil"" and ""worms"" in it. It never happened to me before, i use same brand of product since year or more. Moreover i keep all my food items in cold storage so that i can prevent them to get spoil. Also when i called them than the owner of the store ask me never to visit his store again. Also, i ask him to atleast take some action but he said i can't do anything. This store sell outdated products with bad quality. They are even not considering customers complaints and also ask not to come. I was regular customer of desi bazaar but now i can never suggest this store to anyone. The consumptions of their product(desi bazaar) can make you fall ill. more

bad customer service 9/29/2008

Desi bazaar in fairoks, 8121 madison ave, sacramento,ca. has poor customers service. Their return policy is not up to the mark. Also, quality of products are not as per my expectation. Especially, cereals and grains they are not of good quality. Further they never accepts returns of cereals. This stores return policy is very bad. They are suppose to provide quality products and if they are food qualitywise bad than they should provide full refund for such products. I can never suggest anyone to make purchases from this store. more
