How I needed that massage! 3/14/2011

After a year of cancer treatment, chemotherapy and radiation, I knew my body had been stressed, not to mention my mind. I have to take a pill for the rest of my life that is giving me joint pain. Having the wonderful massage by Deb Kortyna was just what I needed to really begin my life of balance and healing. more

I try to see Deb regularly. She helps me to keep my back pain to a minimum and always checks in with me first for any new areas of concern. Yesterday I got icy lapis stones on my face to help with sinus pain. As I said, always a treat! more

Deb has been part of my health care team for years. I believe massage is a necessary part of staying healthy and limber. As a Doctor of Chiropractic I can tell that Deb is very knowledgeable and well trained. I highly recommend her work especially her active stretches. more

Physical Alignment - Correcting Poor Posture 3/2/2011

I had a session with Deb Kortyna for back pain due to scoliotic malalignment. Our session began with relating concerns then developed into an hour of theraputic massage. Deb was attentive and knew exactly what to do. She opened up certain muscles that allowed me to straighten my slouch and relax my shoulders. I walked into her care hunched over and tense and walked out with a bounce in my step. RELIEF! more

Ten Zo the Tension Away! 2/28/2011

I love Tex Zo and highly recommend it to others! If you've never heard of it, try it and like I say, "Ten Zo the Tension Away!" This is a wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating clothes on experience.. It was very cold outside and on Deb's heated table so so warm! more

Warm, comfortable, and friendly 1/28/2011

I look forward to my regular reflexology sessions with Deb. She has provided first class treatment in a first class facility. I am challenged with a peripheral neuropathy and Deb's professional treatments are stimulating and effective. I'm thankful a web search took me to Desert Winds and to Deb. i'm content with the experience and you will be too. more

A friend in Boston recommended Deb for a reflexology session. The one hour of foot therapy left me feeling relaxed and with less pain in my right foot. Deb's office is a dimly lit quiet space - an ideal shelter from the busy outdoors. more

I was visiting Tucson and had a bad back flare-up. Deb was willing to fit me into her busy schedule. What a wonderful experience!! She really understood the balance between deep tissue release and the need for some soothing care for a recent injury - amazingly helpful. She will work with you to find just what you need. more

Back issue all but gone in one session! 11/21/2010

When I arrived for my appointment with Deb, I stated that I was experiencing low back discomfort and felt I might be getting a cold. The day after my session, my back discomfort was all but gone and has continued to improve daily. I also woke the next morining feeling detoxed. Never got sick. more

Effective and Relaxing Addition for Preventative Healthcare 11/8/2010

Deb Kortyna is a truly gifted and passionate massage therapist. I especially appreciate the many types of bodywork that she is so skilled in. I truly feel that while she works on me, she is totally present, giving me what therapy I need the most. I have tried all of her services, and I can't decide which one is my favorite.
