I went to Desert Dental after finding them in my insurance provider list. I had chipped one of my back molars and needed it filed down so it wasn't sharp against my tongue. Desert Dental was able to see me immediately, so I went in. Let me just say BEWARE. In addition to the overall bad feeling I got, Dr. Benjamin was very pushy and tried to get me to do more work than I had requested. Fortunately, I was uncomfortable and insisted he only file down my chipped tooth. He told me I had several cavities, and even took me in back to show me my ""cavities"" with a little camera. I kept telling him to only file my chipped tooth because I was planning to see my usual dentist the following month and I'd have him do my routine cleaning and take care of any cavities I might have. He finally gave up. When I saw my regular dentist the following month, I told him about what happened and asked if I had any cavities. My dentist said my teeth were in perfect condition and he was glad I held my ground and didn't allow Dr. Benjamin to do the work he wanted to do. Desert Dental is not trustworthy and I think Dr. Benjamin is an unethical, dishonest dentist.
