Wow...seriously? 4 1/2 stars? This was NOT a very good restaurant experience. Atmosphere: cramped. you're really wedged between the other patrons. If it were a 'cozy' place this would be fine, but this feels more like 'college coffee bar' decor. \r Food was OK with tiny portions of acceptable (if not commercial) hummus and grape leaves and a paper-like pita bread. Main course arrived within 4 minutes of ordering which sends up the 'Not freshly prepared!!' flag.\r Service was sketchy even on a not-so-crowded Wednesday. \r Looking for more authentic middle eastern food? Head for Highlandtown/Greektown in Baltimore....lots of great choices!\r Pros: You can bring your own wine...that's the only assurance you have of quality Cons: Atmosphere, portions, service, MANAGEMENT more

Great food and fun. 5/31/2008

The hummus platter is always good with different varieties every night. You can sit outside when the weather is not and on Saturday nights, they have a belly dancer! Great food, fun and reasonable prices. They take reservations for parties larger than 4. Remember to BYOB. Pros: Great food and belly dancer on Saturday night Cons: Limited parking and limited seating. more

great value-- middle eastern cuisine in mount washington, BYOB. wonderful homeade desserts 11/18/2006

great hummus and pita, greek salad was fresh, homeade dressing was delicious. chicken salad with chutney was excellent. homeade desserts are a MUST--- we took home the banana cream pie and a caramel/chocolate nut tart that was to die for... incredibly fresh. BYOB! more
