I was very pleased with Doctor Anderson's bed side manner and the time she took to explain everything to me. During my wife's first visit, we had a less than positive experience, but Dr Anderson checked their records, apologized for the delay and explained that they had a very unusual day that day with three emergencies happening at the same time. I have been a critic of this office, but I have to say that I'm a convert and will go back to see Doctor Anderson with all my girls! more

I have known/had Dr Kathleen Smith as my kids primary pediatrician for 6 years now, almost 7. I have 2 children a 6 year old and a 2 year old. Both have been with her since birth. She has been the absolute best each and every time. She's very thorough, detailed, asks and answers everything about everything. She has developed a very well nurtured, strong and comfortable relationship with both my son and daughter. She gives you her sincerest thoughts & opinions aside from her always on target diagnosis! Has never failed us in any way! Very caring and tender from day 1 as newborns, and shows her honest concern and blossoms in her knowledge of your biggest fear in what your babies may or may not have! In the time of complicated illnesses, she will walk with you the entire process! Even when healthcare at home was needed for my son! I have been fortunate enough to see her continued lines of communication with my children, moreso my 6 yr old daughter all along her early years to now as a 1st grader. She has developed on openess with her and my littIe girl feels free to ask and tell her anything! I highly recommend Dr. Smith to everyone! She has a patient list that goes forever, and so I have also had the pleasure of having my babies treated by most of the other physicians in the same office. They are all great! And when I seemed leery of seeing someone new, she always set my mind at ease by giving me some background knowledge of them. They are truly ALL a great group. Caring for children is second nature to all of them really! THANK YOU Dr.'s Smith, Rodarte, Mabie (though gone), Mazmanian, Anderson, Lizer, and definately lets not forget the front office Lisette, Carmen, and Liz! Liz you have been there my entire time with the group too and longer! And the nurses! Judy you are the best! And to those who administer the shots/vaccines, they all have a huge sense of care and are all so gentle from the very new newborn to my very fearful and screaming 6 yr old! You all tie in so well, and have really made my life with my children's illnesses much easier to handle knowing I could always count on you. Dr Smith, you are truly a Godsend! And Dr Rodarte, you are Awesome! For a man, you really have a gentle side with kids! Gillian use to be afraid of male docs until you! She loves you just as much as Dr Smith! I too will have to leave the group as our insurance carrier will become Kaiser as of the 1st of the year. I am deeply sad. No one knows my babies like you do! Inside and out! I really believe that my loss, will be someone's GREAT GAIN! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN! Pros: Absolutely everything and everyone! Cons: N/A, oh except during sick/winter time, allow x for parking! more

I've had nothing but good experiences at this doctor. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about all the extra shots and tests required to get our kids into CA schools and camps. Very accommodating on refilling prescriptions on short notice, and a great front-desk staff. The kids love the fish in the waiting room. Sick/Well sides of the office. Great convenience of walk-in hours in the mornings and appts on Saturday. Not sure how ""babies1101"" had such a bad experience, but ours were always great. We have to leave the practice -- we're with Kaiser now -- but would have stayed if we could! Thanks, Dr. Rodarte! I really had a bad experience with this clinic. The first time I tried to make an appt with them for my 9 month old baby, they gave me a hard time. The told me they were going to call me but they never did until my husband had to call them himself. Then, on her first visit, the doctor who saw her was very impersonal. For a pediatrician, you would expect him to be a little patient for a crying baby, but he was rude enough to tell me that he could not concentrate and to make her stop crying if possible. Then the next time I called them was for my baby's skin problem. I just wanted them to give me a referral to a dermatologist and the nurse that I spoke to on the phone told me that she will call me in a few hours. Again, I did not get a call back. So we had to come in at 8:30am the following morning to see a doctor and get a referral. I was telling the receptionist that I was supposed to get a call from the nurse yesterday and their appointment person was rude to tell me that since I was already there I don't need to complain and just wait to be seen by a doctor! And what didn't surprise me anymore was the female doctor that saw my daughter. This doctor was a different one from the first. Again, very impersonal. She walked in with her laptop, looked at my daughter's back and legs for about 5 seconds and that was it. She told me that we don't need to see a dermatologist even though I asked for it! I'm making sure that I have to write this comment for someone considering this group. After I write this comment, I will never go back to them. We had Rose City Pediatrics Group before and they were AWESOME! Unfortunately, we had to change insurance and they dont accept our current insurance. So again, I'm searching for a new pediatrician for my daughter. Pros: None that I can think of Cons: Rude staff specially Jody the old lady, impersonal pediatricians more

A really fantastic office. There is a well side and a sick side, the waiting room is very nice, the receptionists are delightful, the nurse is great and the Doctors are a dream, no one wears a white coat which is so helpful for my daughter. Dr. Anderson gets down to my daughter's level (she's almost 2) and says hi, talks to her, has got to know her and seems to genuinely care about why we are there. Not once has my daughter cried there and she used to be almost hysterical with our last peditrican.\r Pros: Wonderful place all the way around more
