The office I went to was on 50 Staniford Street.....I found this place to be very dissapointing. When I go to see a doctor I like to know that I am in good hands. I did not feel this way at this office. The receptionists were very nice when I got there. I had to wait 45 minutes to go in, even though i was early. Then they made me sit in the room for another 15, but that wasnt the issue. The doctors who saw me were not very knowledgable. They did not listen to my needs and tried to push perscriptions on me, even though I told them I couldn't take them. They perscribed a topical medication and an antibiotic. I told them, multiple times, that I could not use the topical as I had sensitive skin and it had been very harmful to me in the past. I then told them that could not take an antibiotic because it would cancel out the effects of my birth control. I had also used this particular medicine in the past, and it didn't work for me. The doctors did not even tell me that the medicine would make my birth control inaffective. Don't you think that's something they should warn patients about? They did not. Lucky for me, I already knew about the persciption. She then asked me what birth control I was on and said ""Oh, I've never heard of that one"". She then proceeded to GOOGLE IT ON HER IPHONE! Unbelievable. She's handing out medications to patients without the understand of what I'm already taking. Shouldn't doctors know about perscription medications that are affiliated with something they may perscribe? To top it off...she steps out of the office and comes back with free samples and a perscription of the medications I just specifically told her I cannot take!! At that point I was done. Overall..the experience was lacking. The doctors clearly do not listen to their patients here. I felt like they just wanted me out of there. I have an appointment at a new doctor...hopefully they will treat me like a human being.
